Interview with Lisa Horner

AJ interviewed Lisa Horner of GoTo Meeting and talked about distributed workforces and workshifting as part of how you can empower employees within the enterprise.

Something that really stood out to me was the idea that when getting work done as a team it is imperative not to be location and space centric instead build a culture of trust.  Regardless of where people are you need to believe that you can build an intimate relationship with them.

Below is the interview from youtube.

We workshifted for awhile at Starbucks in Old Town Temecula, where they have some of the nicest employees you’ll ever meet. Then we decided to take advantage of beautiful weather/nature and go CAMPING! There’s something special about grilling out and sleeping under the stars  :)
