For the past two days we have been in Colorado working with a client and taking a little time to catch up on things. Yesterday we got a delivery from Popchips, experimented some more with the Batchbook app and had an amazing dinner at Root Down. Compliments to the chef, Jonathan Power, his delicious butternut squash funnel cake concoction was delicious!
Our Trip to the Sequoias
One of the coolest things we have done so far on this trip from a personal standpoint was to visit the Sequoia National Park. I have been through California so many times before and never made the trip to the Sequoias, but finally we made it up. My goodness, walking and driving through those enormous trees was breath taking. Below is a little recap of the trip with a special appearance by one of our individual sponsors!
Recap – Day 17 in Pictures
Today we are driving to Portland from San Francisco … yeah for 11 hours of driving! We just got our second oil change. We desperately need to get our alignment fixed, but the shop closed before we could get in, so hopefully we don’t have any late night issues tonight. We are workshifting once again from a Starbucks in Redding and will probably put in another 3 hours of driving tonight. If you are in the Portland or Seattle area let us know and we will try to stop by.
Recap- Day 11 in Pictures
We workshifted for awhile at Starbucks in Old Town Temecula, where they have some of the nicest employees you’ll ever meet. Then we decided to take advantage of beautiful weather/nature and go CAMPING! There’s something special about grilling out and sleeping under the stars :)
Recap- Day 10 in Pictures!
We left my aunt’s house in LA for Temecula, where AJ and I lived as kids. On the way, we stopped by a childhood favorite, Tom’s Farms! We picked up a pumpkin (which we fully intend to carve soon!). And for a nightcap, the new film “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”. We all loved it, btw.
